Anesthesiologist for the U.S. Army


Duties and Responsibilities:  The duties and responsibilities for the Anesthesiologist for the US Army includes providing anesthesia for the patients who are about to go into surgery and perform staff functions in health supports for commanders at all levels.  


Salary: The salary for this career is  $402,321 annually.


Education:
1. Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited U.S. school.
2. License to practice medicine in the U.S.
3. Completion of at least 1 year of an approved graduate medical education internship
4.  Completion of a anesthesiologist program
5.  Must be between 21 to 42 years of age
6. Must be a U.S. citizen


Demand: The demand for this career is high because there are many patients undergoing surgery due to injuries in the war of for any other reason so the Anesthesiologist will  have to give them anesthesia to be able to go into surgery.

Reflection: I would like to be an Anesthesiologist for the U.S. army because there are many people in the army who need to  undergo surgery due to the war or for any other reason and because of that i would like to be in a career where the patients are ready to go into surgery and prepared for what is about to happen to them. Also, i would like to go into this career because there are many benefits for my family and i medically and financially which will help a lot to support my family while i am away.
