Reflection:  This quote is very important because Spencer says that we can only learn by doing it. If someone wants to learn how to play the guitar then he is going to have to hold it and try it out to learn. He can’t learn by just watching and listening he needs to do it and experience it. Also if someone wants to play soccer he could play it but to be good he needs to do it and work hard to accomplish his goal to be good at soccer. We all need to apply this quote in our lives it can benefit our lives greatly. This quote will benefit us greatly because now we know that in order to learn anything we can only learn it by doing it. Even if we fail we can do it again and learn from our mistakes. It's not bad to fail once because the second time you try it you will get it right because you learned from your mistakes. Also we can not use this in a bad way like if someone wanted to learn how to choose the wrong they aren't supposed to use this powerful quote in that way.

Emergency Medical Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:  The duties and responsibilities for this career are to respond to an emergency and perform life saving techniques. Also, the extraction of patients from a dangerous situation.

Salary:  The annual salary $37,780.

Education:  The education requirement for this career is an approved training program at the appropriate EMT level. Also, some programs lead to certificates or Associate’s Degrees

Demand for this position:  This career is important because these people are the first resonders to a situation and will rush the patient to the hospital.

Reflection:  I would like to be a Emergency medical Technician because this career is very important in the medical field. As a first responder there's a rush going on either to the scene where the patient is at or rushing to the hospital for the patient. That rush is something i would really enjoy. Also, this career will have a big responsibility of being fast and accurate which is something i can do.

Reflection: This quote is very important to me because this is something that i have struggled with because in my life or in my generation everything is about fitting in and trying to be like others and that is what i have been trying to do for so long. Then i had realized that's it's not all about fitting in with others it's about doing what's right for yourself. If people see you they could have a spot for you in their life because you’re being yourself and they respect that. Also if you keep fighting and fighting to be in someone’s life that’s what they want you to do but you need to stop and let them open a spot for you in their life. If they never open a spot for you in their life then they are not worth it for you to be stressed out about them. It’s gonna be their loss if they don’t accept you for who you are. In this quote i know that people might take it as a physical fight to be in someone’s life. However it’s actually an emotional and mental fight with yourself and the person you want to be involved with whether its for a friendship or a relationship. You can’t put yourself in a position where you are stressing out or hurting about the person. If you are then you need to get out of there and fight your way out even if you lose many “important” things.

Ear Nose Throat Doctor

Duties and Responsibilities:  The duties and responsibilities for this type of doctor which name is Otolaryngologist is to treat patients with diseases or disorders in the nose, ear, throat and related parts to the head and neck.

Salary:  The annual salary is $369,790.  

Education:  4 year medical degree and a 5 year ENT residency. Also a Bachelor's Degree.

Demand for this profession: The demand for the ent doctor is that to be aware of what they are doing and to handle with care.

Reflection:  I would not like to be a Otolaryngologist because this career would have to take the responsibilities of many things such as the ear,nose, and throat of the patient and to take care of them and treat it if it needs to be treated. Also the fact that this career would have to be aware of what they are doing and needing to handle with care is something i couldn't do because i get really distracted from things to something else.

Reflection:  This quote is very important because as people we need to know what's right and what's wrong. Also, we need to know which actions are the ones we need to take and which ones we shouldn’t take. For example if you go to a party and everyone's doing the wrong thing you shouldn't do the same thing as them you should be obedient and leave and don't go back to join them. If there's a homeless person begging for money or food and you don't have anything you don’t have to just walk away. You can give that person something else. You can stop and talk to that person be their friend and make their day because most homeless people just want someone to talk to. To me that's being obedient. If you do things that make you happy and/or makes other people happy then that's obedient. But if you do something that makes you feel bad or you regret doing something and others don't like what you did then that's something we call disobedient. Obedience is the central to becoming, being, and remaining happy.

I  some of so many resources that LAUSD will provide for their students. Now that i know which resources are available i can use it to my advantage by referring people to the helpful services that LAUSD provides. The people who work in this are trying to get us students to be as successful as we can. I can use the programs to find out more about college and what i can do to get to a good college or university. The parent and student engagement plan can help parents find out how to help their kids the best way so that they can so they can help get their kids to success. Child welfare will also help those families with low income. There are many students in our school who have low income families so this is a good program. A lot of the kids who attend lausd schools are low income which means that many students will not have supplies that they need for school such as pencils,pens,notebooks, erasers etc. There are many more programs which will benefit students that LAUSD has to offer.

Alex Linares

Reflection: I think that Alex was right because we need to choose the right because we need to make right choices with our lives instead of bad choices with our life. Choose the right means that you shouldn't choose to do bad things and you should choose the the good things because if you choose the wrong side you might regret what you did and you won't get to do or get anything good in your future.I will always choose the right because  I want good things to happen in my future I don't want bad things in my future. I think that everyone should make good choices instead of bad choices because that is really bad.Everyone should always choose the right instead of choosing the wrong because it will definitely help you choose your future for you if u dont choose the right. People should not make their life harder than it should because if you choose the wrong side then you will have bad things heading your way. You should always choose the right instead of picking the wrong side because if you do then life will reward you with many great things.People shouldn't choose the wrong they should all choose the right way to make life easier for them.

Reflection:  I wouldnt like to be a dermatologist because it is something that does not catch my attention as a career. Also, the fact that this career takes a while to achieve. This career is not running out of people to work in this profession.

Reflection: This quote is very important because John Wooden is explaining that who we are as people meaning our personality or our actions is way more important than what we are as a basketball player if you're either the best or the worst basketball player.I also believe that this quote is very true but I feel that the part that says what you are as a person should apply to everyone because every one as a person is far more important than anything else. besides that i do like and respect this quote from this individual. i like that hey likes his athletes as a person and not as a basketball player. by this quote he shows that his actual basketball player is not as important than the player themselves.

They also perform duties, such as study property listings, interview prospective clients, accompany clients to property site, discuss conditions of sale, and draw up real estate contracts for their clients.

Education:  Educational requirements for this career includes a High School Diploma. Also they must have a minimum of two years full-time licensed salesperson experience.

Demand:  This career has an increase of only %3 from 2014-2024.

Reflection:  I would really like to be a real estate broker because it's a really good career to show people houses and maybe potentially selling a family their new home which i find is very endearing. Also my parents real estate agent  has taught me so much from when we were picking out our house. For example she taught me how to advertise houses, how and why a house would/wouldn't sell and she broke a lot of things down for me to understand and now i am very interested in being a real estate broker.

Reflection: This quote is really important because this quote by Pathros is meaning that the true wealth in all of us is our heart. Having a lot of money in your wallet or your bank account is wealth but it is not true wealth. True wealth is what's in your heart. If your heart is pure evil and you act the wrong way that isn't real wealth. However if your heart is pure goodness and you act the right way then you are very wealthy with your heart. Being wealthy in your heart is something everybody should be. People shouldn't have a bad heart only good. If people in this world had true wealth then this world will be good and precious. But a lot of people like to choose the wrong and do the wrong thing. It is also important to have a wealthy heart because you will be happy which is good for your health. If you have no wealth in your heart your will have all types of emotions and that will be bad for your health.

Duties and Responsibilities: Dental Assistants help the dentists with whatever they need assistance with. Dental assistants perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties, and often work chair-side as dentists examine and treat patients.

Demand for this profession: The dental assistant career percentage is expected to increase %18 by 2024.

Reflection: I would like to be a dental assistant because even though I wouldn’t be a dentist I would still get a similar experience. Also I will be almost like a Dentist which is something I would like to do. People who are dentist assistants will get the opportunity to be in the dentist's workplace and help a lot as if you are a Dentist as well.

“You cannot do wrong and feel right. It is impossible.”

Reflection: This quote is very powerful because Ezra T. Benson is saying that no one can do something wrong and feel right. For example someone can’t cheat on a test and feel good later on. However there could be bad things that people can do that makes them feel good. An example could be that maybe someone hurts someone but in self defense, it was a bad thing to do but it made the person feel good because that person stood up for himself. There could be also so many more things someone can do that makes them feel good but it was a bad thing to do. I feel that the action that takes place only depends what the cause was for. If it was a horrible action but for a really good reason it may make the person feel really good. HOwever other people with different perspectives can see and say that it was a horrible thing to do and whoever did it should feel bad. Someone can not do something bad and feel good. It is impossible.

Demand for this profession: There was a %16 growth in this career since 2012.

Reflection: I would be a Dentist because i have been fascinated by teeth and keep our oral health very clean. I would like to also be in this profession because the pay for this career is very good and it doesn't take a lot of time to become this profession educationally speaking. Also, this is a career i've been thinking about becoming for a while because it is a very interesting career for me or someone to pursue.

Reflection: This is very important because the key to freedom is obedience. Meaning if your parents don’t let you do something maybe you weren’t being obedient. If you be more obedient you will show your parents that you can and will be more responsible. If you are not obedient and you do the wrong thing your teachers, parents and others will not give you freedom because they see that you are irresponsible and immature. So if you are obedient you will get freedom. Also, if you’re obedient just once you’re not going to get a lot of freedom. You need to be obedient all the time so you can get freedom all the time. Being obedient is not really hard you just have to choose the right and do what is good. Not choose the wrong side and do things you shouldn’t be doing. Doing this you give you the freedom you have wanted and it will show that you are mature and responsible. 

9/11 Memorials

On September 11, 2001, terrorists attacked the Unites States. They hijacked four airplanes during their flight. The terrorists flew two of the planes into two skyscrapers at the World Trade Center in New York City. The impact caused the buildings to catch fire and collapse. Another plane destroyed part of the Pentagon (the U.S. military headquarters) in Arlington, Virginia. The fourth plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. They believe that the terrorists on that plane intended to destroy either the White House or the U.S. Capitol. Passengers on the plane fought the terrorists and prevented them from reaching their goal. Those people who fought and sacrificed their lives for their country are heroes. The results of lives lost is almost 3,000 people who were killed in these attacks.

Reflection: This event is a really big part of history. Many people have died sons,daughters,brothers,sisters,fathers, and mothers. I couldnt imagine if my parents were in this event. I know that the people who did this were terrorists and this was a very bad thing but they are still people. They are still someones father,son and brother and it was a sacrifice for their country even though this act had declared war.

For example doing something that your parents told you to do like going to clean your room or to wash your dishes. Things like being rude to them, lying, and not paying attention to them is not being obedience. Obedience is important in all parts of life like listening to your coach, teacher, parents, and wise people that you may know. Also, by listening to all those people in your life you are being obedient and you can learn so many things that may help you in the future or present moments of your life.
