“You will go far with CTR”

Mr. Haymore

Reflection: This is an amazing quote by Mr. Haymore because he talks about how choosing the right and living your life with CTR will take you far in life. In many people’s lives they either choose the wrong and think their cool and then there are other people who choose the right and live their life the right way and those are the people that are cool. An example of going far with CTR is if you choose the right in elementary, middle school, then high school then you will go far in life because you chose the right and stayed with it in your life. Another example of going far with CTR is if a person decides to choose the wrong in their life and do the wrong things like drugs and other things in their life then they will not go far in life. Instead the people who are taking the drugs will most likely go backwards or stay in the same spot in their life instead of going forward and far with CTR. Also if someone chooses the right in their life then they will live a happy and joyful life. However, if someone lives their life choosing the wrong then they will live a bitter and hateful life that no one will ever want to live. Mr. Haymore says, “You will go far with CTR” we must always choose the right.
Class Evaluation

Some of the things i liked about this class was that how much we learned about how to choose the right and the right things to do in life and also how we learned to program different qualities in the computer at the same time. I also liked how we were able to write about different medical careers that can give us an idea of what career we would like to pursue and become. There is only one recommendation i have to improve this class and that’s to learn more about computers and different programs that can be of use to us as students. A highlight for me in this class was the CTR project how everyone presented their power point and were able to present how choosing the right works in life and what choosing the wrong looks like. I really did do my best in this class trying my hardest to be a CTR student and not choosing the wrong. Also i did my best when writing the reflection’s for the student success statement  and the medical careers. Also i did my very best to read my daily goals journal for five minutes every day and tried to make it a habit in my life. I also now commit myself to be a CTR person 24/7 because it is something that is really good to do and to become in life.

“The ultimate choice is to be a CTR person- to always choose the right 24/7”

Mr. Haymore

Reflection: At many times in our lives we make different choices whether they are bad or good ones. However, the ultimate choice that we will make in our lives will be if we choose to be a CTR person and choose the right 24/7. Many people live their lives in hate, anger, resentfulness, and ignorance because at a moment in their lives they had a choice of whether to choose the right or to choose the wrong and those people who live those kinds of live make the wrong decision. Some examples of choosing the right is when people have good character and do things they are supposed to do in their lives that is right. A example of choosing the wrong is having a bad character and doing the wrong things that should not be done in people’s lives. Mr. Haymore says, “The ultimate choice is to be a CTR person- to always choose the right 24/7.” When the time comes we must always choose the right.
Apple

Image result for appleThe topic i have chosen to write about is Apple and how the creation of apple came to be by Steve Jobs. I chose this topic because many people have apple products and i think that maybe most of them do not know how this company was created. The creator of Apple is a man named Steve jobs who was a entrepreneur, a businessman, inventor, and industrial designer. He is the chairman, co-founder, and chief of executive of the Apple Incorporation. Steve Jobs at the age of 20 first invented and found Apple in his parents’ garage with a friend by the name of Steve Wozniak in 1975. The name Apple was placed for the company by Steve Jobs because whilst in the process of naming the company he was on a fruitarian diet and when he had came back from an apple farm he thought Apple was a fun, spirited and non-intimidating name for the company.  The first product of this company was the first ever Apple Computer that was created on April 1, 1976. After Jobs and Wozniak's first creation of the Apple computer they went on and created the first iPhone that was released in June 29th of 2007. Four years later on October 5th 2011 Steve Jobs passed away at the age of 56. However, Steve Wozniak is still alive at the age of 66. One of the best Steve Jobs quotes is “Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me. Going to bed at night knowing we’ve done something wonderful, that’s what matters to me.”

If there is beauty in character
there will be harmony in the home.
If there is harmony in the home,
there will be order in the nation
If there is order in the nation,
there will be peace in the world.
Conclusion:
If there is beauty in character,
there will be peace in the world.

Chinese Proverb

Reflection: This Chinese proverb is exceptional because it talks about how there can be peace in the world and that is only by having beauty in character. The Chinese proverb says “If there is beauty in character there will be harmony in the home. If there is harmony in the home, there will be order in the nation. If there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world.” This Chinese proverb is amazing as it talks about if we the people have beauty in our character then the home we live in will have harmony and with harmony in everybody's home the nation will have order and with order in the nation then there can and will be peace in the world. Peace in the world can not exist until we all have beauty in our character. For example if someone is in a gang or a club that does not do the right thing then it is a place nobody should go to and should not even exist because as long as that gang exists there will be no peace in the world. We all must have beauty in our character to have harmony in our home and order in the nation and peace in the world.
Yoga Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities for this career includes having to plan workout regiments, teach integrative yoga to clients, and also to keep their clients healthy and safe.

Salary: The annual salary is $40,970.

Education: Typically yoga therapists do not require any type of education but most do have a high school diploma. However, yoga therapists require a 200 hour basis certification in order to teach a group and a professional certification is recommended for integrative yoga therapists to open their own private practice.

Demand: The demand to this career is not that high as people find more and more ways to relax and stay calm rather than going to a yoga therapist.

Reflection: I would not like to be a yoga therapist because it requires for a person to be really calm and soothe others while they practice yoga techniques and i do not think that i will be able to do that and provide that kind of service. Also the demand for the yoga therapist is not high so most likely there will not be a lot of work to be done as a yoga therapist. Also being a yoga therapist it requires for people in this field to be able to connect to people and gain and earn their trust which is sometimes difficult for me.

“A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder.”

Thomas Carlyle

Reflection: This statement by Thomas Carlyle is amazing because he says that a man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder which is true and a great analogy comparing a man to a ship. The rudder of the ship is what controls the direction it is heading and it steers to the direction the captain wants to go. We are a ship and the captain but without goals there is no point of sailing out into the sea. An example is if you graduate high school and then you do not have a clue as to what to do then you are exactly like a ship not knowing what to do and where to go. We all need to have goals in order to know which direction we are headed. Thomas Carlyle says, “A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder.” We all need to be the ship and the captain in the sea with goals that steers us in the right direction.
