Student Success Statement

“ A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches.”

Proverbs 22:1

Reflection: This is a very good and important quote because it tells us that we should always chose to have a good name. Instead of choosing riches and other things that are worth less than your name. An example is if someone goes to the bank and wants to check their balance and they have $200 but they only remember having $50 then that person should call the bank to ask what happened instead of keeping the money that may or may not have been somebody else’s. Another example would  be if you see someone drop their wallet and you don’t say anything and you take it your choosing riches over your good name. You need to always choose the right and choose to have a good name instead of choosing great wealth.
