Reflection: This quote by Thomas S. Monson says that we should dare ourselves to stand alone. Standing alone not by isolating ourselves from the whole world but to stand alone for what is right. We as people sometimes tend to stand alone with people that are a really bad influence and instead of standing alone for what is right we decide to stay with those people.  If standing alone for what is right was easy then everyone in the world would be doing it but it's not it is probably one of the hardest thing for someone to do. An example of standing alone is if you are at school and in lunch with some of your friends and then all of a sudden your friends start making dirty jokes or using foul language or doing something that they should not be doing then you need to step away from that group and dare yourself to stand alone. Thomas S. Monson says “Dare to stand alone.” we all at one point in our lives need to make the decision to stand alone when it is needed to do it.

Reflection: This quote by Thomas S. Monson is very true because we can never do the right thing by doing something wrong and you can not ever do the wrong this by doing something right. For example, if you lie because you are trying to protect someone that is doing the wrong but you think it's right but it is the wrong thing to do.  Another example is if you think you are doing the wrong thing by telling the truth and hurting a person's feelings it's not because you were honest and honesty is very important. It's better for someone to have their feelings hurt than for someone to be very angry because you lied and didn't tell them the truth.

Reflection: This quote is very very important because if anyone tells us to do something we know is wrong we need to stand against it and stand up for what is right. Also if nobody has the courage to stand up for what’s right and you’re by yourself then stand up for what’s right by yourself.  For example if your friends are telling you to jump a fence to somewhere you know you shouldn’t be at then stand against them by yourself even if no one else joins you. An example of doing what you shouldn’t be doing is actually jumping the fence and not doing what is right. I really like this quote because it's hard in high school to do what is right against doing what is wrong because your friends tell you to do it. But this quote has really helped me that if i ever know that theres something im about to do that is wrong then it's okay for me to stand up against it and do what's right even if i'm by myself. I know if people read this quote as well in can bring up thoughts into their mind and stand up for what's right and nobody has to stand up against what's wrong by themselves again. So we all need to not do anything we know is wrong and be the one to make a stand for what is actually right even if no one stands with you and your by yourself.

“Obedience is the great test of life”

Reflection: This quote by Thomas S. Monson is very important because obedience is to obey and obey is to do something that you were told to do. For example doing something that your parents told you to do like going to clean your room or to wash your dishes. Things like being rude to them, lying, and not paying attention to them is not being obedience. Obedience is important in all parts of life like listening to your coach, teacher, parents, and wise people that you may know. Also, by listening to all those people in your life you are being obedient and you can learn so many things that may help you in the future or present moments of your life.

Reflection: This quote means a lot to me because I made poor decisions and those decisions determine my destiny. A lot of these choices have affected me negatively. If I had kept making bad decisions like I did in the past I probably wouldn’t be in school. My destiny would have been really negative so I thank those who helped me get through what happened. Now I know that if I make poor decisions it will affect me and those who are around me negatively. Also, if i make really good choices i would get good consequences.It would affect me and others around me positively rather than negatively.
